General Leagues Rules

For the past 20+ years I have run four keeper leagues.

Details on the general league rules are listed below.   

These leagues are keeper leagues that is run through CBS Fantasy League Commissioner Service.

 Very established leagues, going on 20+ years.

 

Only looking for serious keeper league owners who have experience playing in competitive fantasy baseball leagues and are at least 21 years old. 

 

5 X 5 Roto League, with weekly lineups. Categories are HR, RBI, Runs, SB, Batting Avg, Wins, Saves, ERA, WHIP and Strikeouts

We have both $100 leagues (Ruth, Gibson, Williams) and $250 leagues (Mantle). 

$100 leagues : $1,400 in league fees collected, $1,250 for the prize pool and $150 for CBS Service.

First Place $550, second Place $325, Third Place $225, Fourth Place $100, Fifth Place $50

$250 league : $3,500 in league fees collected, $3,350 for the prize pool and $150 for CBS Service.  First Place $1250, Second Place $900, Third Place $650, Fourth Place $400, Fifth Place $150

 

14 teams in the league. 28 players on each team. The players are from the AL and NL. 

 

20 players in starting lineup and 8 bench players. Starters include C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, CI, MI, 4 OF, 1 Utility and 8 Pitchers (SP or RP) 

 

7 keeper players kept each year (a player can be kept for a maximum of 5 years)

 

Draft is 21 rounds, beginning in mid-March. 

 

FAAB Free Agency - Allowed $200 FAAB per season for free agency pickups.

 

No limit on trades, trading allowed during the season and the offseason.
